Mount Everest Skydive

Everest Skydive and its team of special experts continues to facilitate the world’s highest skydiving event in front of Mount Everest with tandem and solo parachuting events run concurrently. It was first operated in 2008 and now the adventure is listed by CNN Travel as being among the top ten adventures in the world.

The free falling from a height of 29,500ft, Everest Skydive gives you the opportunity to skydive from above some of the world’s tallest peaks, including Mount Everest from Tara Air’s Pilatus PC-6 Aircraft equipped with a specially designed oxygen system and flown by highly experienced pilots certified for parachuting sorties.
 
The high and wild, UK and Explore Himalaya Travel and Adventure Everest Skydive 2008 had organised the first everest skydive at syangboche which is situated on Solokhumbu District. This unique event had drawn the attention of millions of people around the world to hilly Everest region of Nepal.

The Everest skydive not only take people to the dizzying heights of 29,500 ft, it also take people to the heart of the sherpa country of Nepal. People will be landed at the airstrip in Lukla and begin the trek to Syangboche.Syangboche is the highest drop zone in the world and lies 12 miles southwest of Everest Base Camp and 17.5 miles from its summit. Th Everest Skydivers jumped from 29,500 ft which is higher than Everest which makes the event the "Highest Skydive in the World."

Flying from the highest point on earth, amidst magnificent views of the Himalayan peaks was probably the most thrilling and exciting experience of most of the skydivers lives. The success of Everest Skydive 2008, the event became a dream for many skydivers around the world. It could soon attract more people to Nepal than expeditions to Mount Everest.

The event was covered by many or more than 500 international as well as national media and media representatives at the drop zone included National Media Kantipur, Avenues Television and International Media Channel 5 and UK and many more national and international media.


Price For Skydive 
       Their are two types of Skydive currently available and that is Solo Skydivers and Tandem Skydivers. Solo Skydive is cheaper in comparison to Tandem Skydive. Currently the price for Solo Skydive is $25,000 and Tandem Skydiver is $35,000.
